We have yet another version of our DRR coming out of the fermenter tonight! The only difference between the previous batches is we substituted the 60L with 90L to try and add more flavor! I tasted a sample last night and it's very promising! We also boosted the ABV to 6.2% a little higher than previous. If this batch comes out like I plan, it will be entered into the San Diego Home Brew competition this year at the fair! This is one of two Beers we are entering. More on that in a near future post! Now that we have bottling equipment we are going to bottle a couple 22s of each future batch to see how the Beer ages and how the character changes with age. This way we can do tastings of all our Beers 2X a year and have another reason for a party! Green Parrot Brewing is the blog of a couple of Home Brewers in San Diego, CA producing out of our garage yet developing some pretty dam good flavors in the styles of Beers we like to Brew. Some are traditional, some are very unconventional! We love brewing and experimenting with flavors! Our wares are only on draft so friends and neighbors only can taste at our brewery.
